Within the actions of scientific and cultural activity for the first semester of the Department of Electrical Engineering for the academic year 2017-2018, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hadi Tarish Zaboon and Assist. Prof. Dr. Ashwaq Qassem Hamid delivered a lecture on the (integration of virtual labs in e-learning) on Monday, 18/12/2017 at the Hall of Dajla in the presence of the Head of Electrical Engineering Department Assist. Prof. Dr.Dari Yousif Mahmoud and the Scientific and Administrative Deputies and Heads of Scientific Branches and a number of teachers and employees of the department.

 The seminar tackled the importance of virtual labs as the cornerstone of e-learning in the practical field, where the use of different electronic programs that simulate the real experiences on the electronic calculator using images, drawings and forms that reflect the real devices and equipments for the experiment to be conducted. The advantages of virtual labs have also been reviewed because they provide the possibility of conducting experiments anywhere, anytime, as well as the possibility of carrying out experiments that are difficult to implement in real laboratories due to their seriousness or complexity. Also, the possibility of presenting phenomena that are difficult to display and interpret in real experiments, in addition to compensating for the lack of laboratory capabilities in the absence of laboratory equipments. The methods of implementing these labs and the specialized languages ​​were presented. The lecture included discussions, inquiries and interventions of the attending teachers regarding the subject and its details.
