Under the patronage and presence of Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the President of the University of Technology, the Department of Electrical Engineering participated in the graduation ceremony of the students of the University of Technology for the forty second batch. The batch (Liberation and Building) for the academic year 2016-2017 on Thursday 21/12/2017 at the University Gardens. The participation of the department was attended by the Head of the Department Dr. Dari Yousif Mahmoud, the Assistants, the Heads of the Scientific Branches, members of the department council, and number of faculty members and graduate students who are 134 graduates for the first and second terms in the fields of electrical engineering, electronic engineering and communications engineering. The bachelor's degree was awarded to graduates, the university oath was recited and the first graduates were honored, each according to its engineering specialization, with an atmosphere of joy and pleasure by graduates, teaching staff and graduates' families.
The student Hassan Fawaz Hamid is the first superior to the university and the department with the grade of excellence, student Omar Khudair is the second superior to the section with the grade of very good and student Ahmed Abbas Ali the third superior with the grade of very good.
