M.Sc. Debate

The M.Sc. student (Ashraf Youssef Mohamed) was debated for a Master's degree in his thesis entitled (Modeling and Simulation of 1 MW Connected to the Network) on Thursday, 1/2/2018. The discussion committee consisted of: Assist. Prof. Dr. Dari Yousif Mahmoud, Chairman, Assist. Prof. Dr. Firas Mohamed Tuma, Member, Dr. Kanaan Ali Jalal, Assist. Prof. Dr. Afaneen Anwar Abboud and Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Saleh / supervisors and member.

The researcher concluded in his letter to propose the model of 1 MW connected to the network in the city of Karbala. The work consisted of two parts: a part concerned with studying the calculation of solar radiation and design of the system in addition to some calculations such as estimation of the losses generated, the calculation of productivity and performance, Economic development of that system on the assumption that it is connected to an ideal network while the other part is specialized in studying the establishment of the system within a mini-network with the comparison of productivity and performance with them if they are connected to the electricity network Karbala.

At the end of the discussion, the thesis was accepted with minor modifications and the student received a very good grade.
