Power Electronics Laboratory

About the Laboratory

The electrical electronics lab in the electrical engineering department is one of the laboratories of electrical engineering department equipped with the latest modern laboratory equipment. The main objective of the lab is to impress the students of the electrical engineering branch / the fourth phase of the powerful electronics devices from the point of view of design, function, protection, operation and control, and design of controlled components, single and triple phase controllers, single and triple phase motors, frequency variables, operating modes and load conditions. , Operating and stopping circuits and protection. In addition to studying the characteristics of electric and alternating current motors. It also includes the introduction of the fourth stage students on the characteristics of renewable energy sources, including solar cells, where laboratory testing depends on modern methods of teaching is a way of learning within the team-based learning.
